It is officially 6 days from today that the entire world will be watching and cheering for their favorite athletes at the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics. And while I am looking forward to doing that, I'm more ecstatic to see what brothers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 have in store for us.
The news came out earlier last year when it was announced that the brothers would be in charge of designing the costumes for the Canadian talent for the opening and closing ceremonies at the Olympics. It seems only appropriate that the Toronto born brothers were chosen to do so. As recipients of a star at Canada's Walk of Fame and one of Canada's most celebrated home grown designers, they are the right fit for the job.
The designs are currently kept hush hush, so we'll just have to wait and see on February 12. Will you be watching?
